Aaron Hicks Scratched From Lineup
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (hamstring) was scratched from the starting lineup on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays with right hamstring tightness, according to the team. Fantasy managers should consider Hicks as day-to-day for now. The 32-year-old is struggling at the plate this year with a .209/.338/.243 slash line, one home run, seven RBI, 14 runs scored and five stolen bases in 39 games played. Aaron Judge will get the nod in center field on Tuesday and is batting leadoff against Rays left-hander Ryan Yarbrough. Miguel Andujar is in left field and is hitting cleanup. Judge is the front-runner for American League MVP so far this year, so he needs to be in all starting season-long lineups. Andujar is 4-for-13 with an RBI and steal in just four games in 2022.
