Aaron Hicks To Bat Third
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks will primarily bat third in the team's lineup this season, according to manager Aaron Boone. That lineup likely has Hicks hitting behind two strong on-base hitters in DJ LeMahieu and Aaron Judge and in front of slugger Giancarlo Stanton, giving Hicks one of the most desirable lineup spots in all of baseball. Hicks was somewhat underwhelming with a .225 batting average and a .793 OPS last season, but he finished strong with an .848 OPS over his last 15 regular season games and an .847 OPS in the postseason. Fantasy managers should expect Hicks to bounce back this season with an OPS around .850, and Hicks should be a target at his 279 ADP as a result.
