Aaron Jones Could See More Targets
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard will be the team's No. 1 receiver with Davante Adams now in Las Vegas, but that doesn't mean Lazard will see 100-plus targets in 2022. ESPN's Rob Demovsky wouldn't be surprised if running back Aaron Jones gets a bigger share of aerial targets after he ranked second on the team in targets last year with 65. The Packers also want to get AJ Dillon on the field more often, so perhaps the team moves Jones around to get him the ball in space more often. Jones is still a top-10 fantasy RB, but Dillon's emergence might have some fantasy managers hesitant to pull the trigger on Jones. The 27-year-old should be more attractive in PPR formats after finishing the 2021 season as the RB13 with 799 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 171 carries, while adding 52 receptions for 391 yards and six more scores.
