Aaron Jones Expected To Miss One To Two Weeks
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (knee) was diagnosed with a mild MCL sprain and is expected to miss one to two weeks. This timeline for a return means that he doesn't need to be placed on IR, so he will likely be back in the lineup after the Packers' Week 13 BYE. This seems like the best-case scenario for Jones, as it appeared to be a far more significant injury. He has seen his role in the offense be diminished this year as A.J. Dillon has taken on a more significant workload, but Jones will still be in the RB1 discussion upon his eventual return to the lineup. For as long as he remains out of action, Dillon can be valued as a high-end RB2 with the potential to put up RB1 numbers in the dynamic Green Bay offense.
