Aaron Jones Explodes For 154 Rushing Yards In Win
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones carried the ball 23 times for 154 rushing yards and two touchdowns with two catches on three targets for six receiving yards in a 23-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Jones fumbled the ball on the opening drive, though it soon became a distant memory as the game rolled on. The 24-year-old received 23 carries for only the second time this year- partly due to Jamaal Williams' injury- and gashed the Vikings Defense for a career-high 154 rushing yards. Jones punched a red zone score in, then exploded through a hole and used his breakaway speed to score on a 56-yard run later in the game. The star back has 339 rushing yards and five touchdowns in his last three games. Jones will face a bad Detroit Lions Defense next week as Green Bay makes a push for the number-one seed in the NFC.
