6 years agoAt some point this season, Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will have a dominant game. While it seems less than likely to happen in Week 8 against the tough run defense of the Los Angeles Rams, it remains a possibility. Jones has repeatedly demonstrated that he is one of the most talented players in the NFL with ball in his hands. However, he has been held back by low usage and has seen fewer snaps than fellow running backs Jamaal Williams and Ty Montgomery. Jones started Green Bay’s last game but still saw fewer snaps and a small number of touches. At some point Green Bay is going to turn things over to Jones and let him run wild. Following a bye week, it could be this upcoming Sunday. In most situations you should leave Jones on the bench until we see him get a significant workload. However, if you are a big underdog this week and need a high-variance play in order to increase your odds at an upset than Aaron Jones is a worthwhile flex option.--Tyger McGuiggan
