2 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones carried the ball five times for 49 yards Sunday, adding three receptions on five targets for 27 yards, in the 23-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers struggled to generate offense all game long, and with AJ Dillon leading the backfield in carries, Jones had a disappointing performance in a plus matchup. The limited touches were concerning, but this will not be the norm for the sixth-year back. While he will likely have fewer carries than Dillon most weeks, his involvement in the passing game will surely grow. When Allen Lazard (ankle) is back and quarterback Aaron Rodgers' chemistry with the new receivers grows, Jones will be a more potent producer as a receiver. He has a get-right matchup next week against the 1-0 Chicago Bears.--Ryan Larrison - RotoBaller
