Aaron Judge Departs Game 2 Early Wednesday
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge left the second contest of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Braves early with Clint Frazier taking over for him defensively. The Yankees did not immediately announce any injury news on Judge, who was returning to the lineup after a stint on the IL due to calf ailments. Judge had been vocal in his disagreement with hitting the IL, but it’s unclear at this stage if his departure is connected to his previous injury. When in the lineup, Judge has proven to be a potent offensive bat that can change any DFS slate or season-long league, but his injury concerns loom large. His next chance to return to the lineup comes Friday against the Mets during a doubleheader for which the club has not yet announced its starters.
