Aaron Judge Diagnosed With Stress Fracture
5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (chest) was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his rib. Judge felt shoulder and chest discomfort early in spring training and had been sidelined from game action since the start of the spring. After undergoing a litany of tests over the past few days, Judge was finally diagnosed with a stress fracture and may now be forced to undergo surgery. Judge's timeline is unclear for now, but fantasy owners should expect the star outfielder to miss significant time. Outfielders Mike Tauchman and Clint Frazier stand to benefit the most from Judge's absence, as does utility fielder Miguel Andujar. Judge will be rested for the next two weeks, so he's now a near lock to begin the 2020 season on the injured list.
