4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge was removed late during the second game of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Braves due to what manager Aaron Boone described as a tightening up of his calf. Judge, who returned Wednesday from the IL due to ailments to both calves, may be facing another stint on the IL due to the injury. Boone reiterated that the Yankees would need to evaluate him Thursday in order to make a determination for his status this weekend against the Mets. Judge had been vocal about his desire to avoid the IL in the first place, although it appears that the call may be out of his hands moving forward.--Jesse Borek
