Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton Could Return Next Weekend

4 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone was effusive prior to Friday’s contest against Baltimore that he would have outfielders Aaron Judge (calf) and Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) back soon, saying that their return was “very close.” Despite that, the timeline for a return still continues to be next weekend for the duo of sluggers, which gives them an extremely small window of time to contribute before the end of the year. When healthy, both Judge and Stanton have shown their propensity for production, with nine homers in 18 games for Judge and a 1.038 OPS in 14 contests for Stanton. Upon their activation, both will be immediate season-long options in all sized formats. Check back for a clearer picture on when either may specifically get back into the lineup.--Jesse Borek
