4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (rib) declared himself “game-ready” on Monday. Judge suffered a stress fracture in his rib late last season that forced him to take time away from swinging, but the delayed season has provided Judge enough time to heal. Rib stress fractures are uncommon in baseball, so it’s hard to estimate the chances of the injury nagging Judge this season, but it seems unlikely that he’ll miss time because of his rib this year. Fantasy owners should expect Judge to be a dominant power hitter again this season after the 28-year-old posted a .973 OPS over the past three seasons.--Sam Chinitz
