7 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (wrist) ran the bases and played catch at Yankee Stadium on Thursday, but he still can't swing a bat. "We're not quite there yet, but I think today was a good day, another positive step forward for him," manager Aaron Boone said. "He ramped up some things after a pretty much light day yesterday, so he's making progress, but [it's] slow still." Judge's fantasy owners are getting impatient, but he said he could return before his wrist is fully healed. That could compromise his home run stroke and leave him open to aggravating his injury. The power hitter has batted .285 with 26 home runs, 61 RBI and six steals on the season. Brett Gardner has seen more playing time with Judge on the shelf.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
