Aaron Judge's Arbitration Hearing Moved To Friday
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge's salary arbitration hearing has been moved from Wednesday to Friday. Some reports have Judge's arbitration hearing as always being scheduled for Friday, but either way, although unlikely at this point, it'll afford the two sides a little extra time to perhaps get a long-term contract extension worked out. Judge initially requested $21 million for this year, while the Yankees countered at $17 million. On the field, the 30-year-old slugger is the easy favorite for American League MVP, as he's currently hitting .301/.380/.647 with a 1.026 OPS, a league-leading 25 home runs, a league-leading 55 runs scored, 50 RBI and five stolen bases in 65 games for the Yanks.
