5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola had another strong outing Wednesday night pitching seven innings of one-run ball vs the Cardinals. Nola scattered four hits and three walks and struck out eight while improving his record to 6-0. Nola got off to a shaky start this season and his 4.18 ERA isn't quite where fantasy owners expected on draft day. However, Nola has now won three straight games with 26 strikeouts in those starts. His xFIP is down to 3.74 and should have more positive regression coming. His .385 BABIP against should normalize and his 20.4 percent home run to fly ball rate should also come down closer to his career number. He should be started with confidence next time out at the Padres, who possess the fifth worst team wOBA against right-handed pitching.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
