3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola had his shortest start this year on Saturday as he allowed a season-high six earned runs in a no-decision at San Francisco. The first five runs the Giants scored all happened with two outs in back-to-back innings as it was a frustrating afternoon for Nola and his fantasy managers. As bad as he's been at times, Nola's upside makes him a must-start option in fantasy. His 27.6 percent strikeout rate and 41 percent ground-ball rate are both strong numbers and should lead to more good starts than bad starts moving forward. Hopefully, Nola can shake this start off and rebound in a good matchup with the Mets next week.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
