3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola allowed four runs in six innings pitched while earning his sixth win of the season Monday at Chicago. Nola was spotted a seven-run lead early in the game and pitched like he should with a large lead; he threw strikes, even if it led to some earned runs. Nola threw 71-of-100 pitches for strikes while generating whopping 20 swinging strikes and posting a strong 38 CSW%. He pitched better than his final line would indicate, but fantasy managers can't be upset with a win and eight strikeouts. Nola will try and finish the first half strong in a tough matchup at Boston.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
