Aaron Nola Looks For Rebound Start Against Mets
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola will take the mound on Friday in a pivotal start against the New York Mets. Nola is coming off a horrid outing in which he only lasted 2 1/3 innings and allowed six earned runs on six hits with two home runs in a no-decision against the league-best San Francisco Giants. While his inconsistency through the season might scare off some fantasy managers, the 28-year-old righty also has 95 strikeouts on the season, which all but matches his total from 2020 alone. Managers should look for Nola to have a bounce-back game against the Mets, who he has tallied 12 strikeouts against so far this season.
