Aaron Nola Navigates Coors Field To Second Win
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola didn't have his best outing this season, but he managed to work through seven innings with four strikeouts and pick up his second win of the season Saturday at Colorado. Nola allowed four runs in baseball's toughest pitching environment, but Rhys Hoskins provided the Philly starter plenty of offensive support to escape Denver with a victory. The right-hander is off to a hot start this season with a 2.84 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP through his first five starts. His strikeout rate is lower than we'd like it to be coming off last season's 33.2 percent rate, but Nola is a matchup-proof ace for fantasy even if he can't fully match last season's dominance. Keep him locked into fantasy lineups for his next start at St. Louis.
