4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola had five strikeouts in four innings on Wednesday, and did not factor into the decision in an 8-2 victory over the Mets. It took 92 pitches for Nola to get through his outing, as he allowed one run on six hits and two walks. He has yet to record a decision after two starts, but the strikeout numbers are looking good so far as he has 11 punch outs in 10 2/3 innings of work. Nola will get another try for his first win of 2021 in his next scheduled start on the road in a rematch with the Mets.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
