Aaron Nola Strikes Out Seven In Loss
5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola allowed three runs over seven innings Sunday in Miami. Nola struck out seven in the contest and only allowed five hits and a walk but took his fourth loss of the season. Nola has now gone at least seven innings in four of his last five starts with three earned runs or less in all five outings. Nola has been hot in the second half with a sub-4 FIP and a 27.6 percent strikeout rate since the All-Star break. Fantasy owners should continue to trust Nola as a must-start ace in his next start Friday against the Mets.
