4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola struggled Sunday vs the Mets, but still struck out 10 to salvage a good day for fantasy managers. Nola allowed six runs, three earned, in 5 1/3 innings while taking his third loss of the season. Nola had given up just two runs in 15 innings in his two previous starts so consider this a blip on the radar for the Phillies ace. His elite strikeout ability gives him a high-floor every time he takes the hill and he'll usually pitcher better than today. He's got a great bounce-back opportunity lined up Friday against the Marlins.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
