Aaron Nola Takes Tough Loss Monday
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola fell to 1-2 in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Rockies. Nola pitched well overall, allowing two runs on six hits (including a solo home run) and a walk with four strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings pitched. However, the Phillies could only muster a single run in support of him. Nola has not turned in the most inspiring start to the season, posting a 5.52 ERA with 16 strikeouts and four walks over 14 2/3 IP. That being said, the season is much too early for fantasy managers to start worrying about one of their earlier pitchers drafted. Nola will look to turn in a strong start next against the Brewers at home.
