Aaron Nola To Start Exhibition Game Saturday
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola will start an exhibition game at Washington on Saturday, according to manager Joe Girardi. Nola got a delayed start to summer camp due to coming into contact with someone who had COVID-19, but it doesn't appear the right-hander will miss any time as a result. Nothing has officially been announced, but starting Saturday would line Nola up with five days of rest before a juicy Opening Day matchup with the Marlins. Nola has a career 3.43 xFIP and has averaged over a strikeout per inning every season since 2016. He's a reliable SP2 in fantasy worth drafting with a top-75 pick.
