4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola threw nine innings of shutout baseball to earn his first win of the season in a 2-0 win over the Cardinals. Nola allowed just two hits and no walks on the afternoon while racking up 10 strikeouts in the dominant effort. He induced a whopping 21 swinging strikes on 109 pitches while lowering his ERA to 2.19 on the season.
