4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola allowed one run in eight stellar innings as he picked up his first in of the season Monday vs the Braves. Nola allowed just two hits and a walk while striking out 10 in the dominant effort. The right-hander has double digit strikeouts in back-to-back outings while lowering his ERA to 2.79 with a microscopic 0.62 WHIP through three starts. Nola will always provide strikeouts as he has averaged more than a strikeout-per-inning every season since 2016, giving him a safe floor as a must-start pitcher in fantasy. He'll look to keep this momentum going in a good matchup vs the Mets on Saturday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
