4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola threw seven shutout innings with 10 strikeouts in the first game of a doubleheader vs the Marlins on Friday. Nola allowed just three hits and didn't allow a walk in his first career complete game, albeit one of the seven-inning variety. Nola has been dominant this season with a 2.40 ERA supported by a 2.43 xFIP. He has four starts this season with at least 10 strikeouts and has failed to record seven K's just once in nine starts in 2020. The strikeouts give him one of the highest floors in fantasy and he's shown his massive upside multiple times this season. He'll look to continue his bid for the NL Cy Young award Wednesday vs the Mets.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
