Aaron Nola Whiffs Six On Opening Day
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola allowed two runs in 6 2/3 innings with six strikeouts in a no-decision on Opening Day. Nola dominated a good Braves lineup allowing just six hits and no walks on 84 pitches. As good of a start as it was, Nola couldn't quite finish the job allowing a two-run homer to Pablo Sandoval in the seventh inning which prevented Nola from exiting after seven shutout innings while in line for the win. Regardless of what happened in this game, Nola is one of the best starters in baseball and a must-start option in fantasy. Another tough matchup awaits in his next scheduled outing against the Mets.
