5 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was shut down by the Los Angeles Chargers Defense in a 26-11 Week 9 loss. Rodgers completed just 23 of 35 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown. The Packers offensive line didn't give the veteran QB much time to look downfield, as evidenced by his 4.6 yards per attempt, lowest of the season thus far. The line was thoroughly dominated by pass rushers Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. Of course, it also didn't help that the Chargers ate up the clock and ran 68 plays to the Packers' 49. Rodgers and the Pack will look to bounce back next week against a stingy Carolina Panthers pass defense, ranked eighth in the NFL.--Tim Capurso
