6 years agoGreen Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers finally delivered the monster performance that we have been waiting on all season. Against the New York Jets, he threw for 442 yards on 37-for-55 passing with two touchdowns He added two rushing touchdowns and a two-point conversion on the day. Rodgers didn’t look dramatically better than he has earlier this season, things just happened to come together against a struggling Jets team. If anything, it should suggest that his struggles this season have likely been overhyped. Rodgers will have another exploitable matchup next week against the Detroit Lions. While Rodgers has not been an every week kind of player this year, he still has been a solid QB1 and deserves to be started against bad defenses in all circumstances. He should be considered a very good option for Week 17.--Tyger McGuiggan
