It's been a contentious offseason in Green Bay after Rodgers reportedly wanted out, but it appears the solution for now will be a shift in how Rodgers' contract works. The new deal would reportedly not allow for Green Bay to use any kind of franchise tags on Rodgers, clearing the way for one final season at Lambeau for the reigning NFL MVP. Rodgers led the NFL in touchdown passes and completion percentage last season, plus posted his third consecutive campaign leading the league in lowest interception rate.
