Aaron Rodgers Getting Some Work In Thursday
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (toe) is getting some practice work in on Thursday, which has been a rare occurrence for him since suffering a fractured pinkie toe. Rodgers hasn't been practicing at all in recent weeks, but he hasn't missed any games and hasn't seen his play suffer at all, so it looks like his injured pinkie toe might be improving. There have been reports that Rodgers wants to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Detroit Lions, but it seems highly unlikely that he'd play any more than a series or two, if at all, with the Packers having already locked up a first-round bye and the No. 1 seed in the NFC for the playoffs. The 38-year-old is the front-runner for another MVP award this year. Rodgers has gone 352-for-513 (68.6 completion percentage) for 3,977 yards, 35 touchdowns and only four interceptions in 15 games.
