Aaron Rodgers Navigating New Playbook

5 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and new head coach Matt LaFleur have been working together to get on the same page. Under the previous regime, Rodgers was given a lot of freedom to make audible decisions. However, LaFleur's offenses have been previously called with the choice of two plays, depending on the final defensive read- to make it simple for the quarterback. Rodgers' skill set and experience are vastly different from the talent that LaFleur has worked with in his previous roles. The Packers offense was not as effective as it had been in previous seasons last time out- but with Rodgers at the helm and offensive talent in Davante Adams and Aaron Jones the team has a great chance to bounce back this season.--Richard King - RotoBaller
