Aaron Rodgers Primed For Bounce-Back Performance
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will have the perfect opportunity to put the team's porous Week 1 behind them against the Lions in Week 2. Detroit's defense was ripped up for 41 points in Week 1 against the 49ers and prized cornerback prospect Jeff Okudah is now out for the season with a torn achilles. Rodgers played terribly against the Saints to open the season but now will face a Lions defense that allowed the most fantasy points to opposing passers last season. The Lions allowed 38 passing touchdowns in 2020 and Rodgers gashed them for 530 yards, one rushing touchdown and five passing touchdowns in two games against them last season. The reigning MVP is set up for a huge game in Week 2.
