Aaron Sanchez Experiences Walk Issues In Tuesday's Start
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez took a no-decision in Tuesday's 7-5 extra-innings loss to the Rockies. Sanchez pitched just 4 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on just one hit but five walks and six strikeouts. The 28-year-old is off to a great start with the Giants, posting a 2.22 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 20% strikeout rate over his first five starts. His next start will be a rematch with the Rockies but in the hitter-friendly Coors Field. The venue is always nerve-wracking for fantasy managers, but Sanchez isn't a bad option, as he has done a great job keeping the ball on the ground.
