Aaron Sanchez Nearly Pitches No-Hitter
7 years agoAfter getting touched up by the New York Yankees in his first start of the year, Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez has rebounded nicely with two solid outings in a row. In his latest on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles, he carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning before third baseman Tim Beckham ended the dream. Sanchez still ended up with a fantastic line of eight innings pitched with one earned run on three hits, five walks, and four strikeouts. The strikeouts and walks aren’t ideal, but all in all, fantasy owners will take the outing all the same. Sanchez has a nice matchup coming up when he takes on the Kansas City Royals in Toronto on Monday.
