Aaron Sanchez Pitches Lackluster Start Tuesday
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez did not factor in Tuesday's Game 1 12-4 win over the Rockies. Sanchez pitched four innings, allowing four runs on seven hits (including a grand slam) and a walk with four strikeouts. It was Sanchez's worst start of the season, but German Marquez had an abysmal first inning, so the Giants pretty much had the game in hand from the start. Despite this, Sanchez has pitched very well overall, compiling a 3.18 ERA over his first six starts. His next matchup will be a tougher test against the Padres at home.
