2 years agoSeattle Mariners' third baseman Abraham Toro was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday. Mitch Haniger was reinstated from the 60-day injured list in a corresponding move. Toro struggled this season, slashing .180/.239/.322 with eight home runs, 26 RBI, 30 runs, and a stolen base over 285 plate appearances in 2022. The 25-year-old will try to turn things around in the minors and is expected to be one of the top call-ups if Seattle needs to call up a hitter from the minor leagues.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
