4 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (oblique) has been activated from the injured list and is in the starting lineup on Tuesday. He's getting the start at shortstop and batting seventh against the Rays, after missing the first month and a half of the season with an oblique strain. Over eight rehab games between Double-A and Triple-A, Mondesi slashed .214/.241/.357 with one home run, two steals, three RBI and three runs scored. Managers should plug him back into the lineup, as they have eagerly awaited the return of his 30 to 40 steal potential.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
