3 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (hamstring) has been placed on the 10-day injured list on Sunday. This comes after Royals manager Mike Matheny said there was no timetable for Mondesi on Saturday. The young shortstop has been banged up all season long, but did play well during his short time being healthy. Edward Olivares has been recalled to take over the active roster spot. He won't be a reliable fantasy option since he hasn't done much during his time on the big league roster. Fantasy managers can be hopeful for a better timetable on Mondesi within the next week or so.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
