5 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (shoulder) won't be re-evaluated until after the team's current road trip and is not performing baseball activities. Mondesi has been with the team on the road, but will reportedly remain shut down for now. Fantasy owners will need to wait until the Royals get back home to get a more exact timetable but today's report indicates Mondesi will be on the injured list into August. Mondesi was enjoying a very good season before injuring his shoulder trying to make a diving catch Tuesday. He is batting .266 with a .433 slugging percentage and his 31 stolen bases still lead the league despite the IL stint.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
