3 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets defenseman Adam Boqvist (undisclosed) will miss his first game of the season on Monday as the Stars come to visit. Dean Kukan will enter the lineup. Boqvist, who came over from Chicago in the Seth Jones trade in the summer, hasn't yet kicked into gear in Ohio, going pointless in five games with a minus-two rating, but his absence will be a blow for the second power-play unit. Jake Bean will take his spot on Monday, which gives his fantasy value a bit of boost. Boqvist took line rushes on Monday morning, so his issue doesn't appear to be too serious and Columbus will be off until Friday following Monday's game, which gives the Swedish blueliner good recovery time.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
