Adam Duvall Cranks Grand Slam Wednesday
7 years agoCincinnati Reds left fielder Adam Duvall went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in Wednesday's win over the Diamondbacks. Duvall hit a moon shot to straightaway center off Patrick Corbin in the fourth inning to tie the game at 4-4. The power hitter now has 10 home runs and 32 RBI on the season and has a career-high walk rate of 10.5 percent and hard-contact rate of 41.3 percent. The .181 batting average is the only thing preventing Duvall from being a fantasy starter. However, his career-low .193 BABIP versus a career .269 average suggests that he has been unlucky on balls in play to this point. If luck can start going in his favor, Duvall could become a valuable pickup for fantasy players in 12-team leagues or greater.
