Adam Duvall Still Out Against Cardinals
2 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Adam Duvall (hand) remains out of the starting lineup on the Fourth of July on Monday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Duvall will miss his second straight game, but X-rays on left hand have come back negative after he was hit by a pitch on Saturday. The 33-year-old should be considered day-to-day, but he could lose out on playing time moving forward with Eddie Rosario (eye) back from the injured list. Rosario is in left field on Monday and is hitting seventh against Cardinals right-hander Dakota Hudson. Duvall is hitting just .205/.272/.376 on the season, but he does have 10 home runs, 32 RBI and 36 runs scored in 290 plate appearances over 77 games. Rosario has played in just 15 games so far this year and has gone 3-for-44 (.068) with 10 strikeouts.
