5 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton singled in Yan Gomes and Victor Robles in the ninth to give the Nationals a four-run cushion at 6-2 in Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday. In the eighth, he stole a bag that led to Juan Soto driving him in on a single. It was a huge night at the plate for Eaton, and you can consider him responsible for three runs with that heads-up baserunning. The Nationals are World Series Champions and one of the greatest underdog stories we’ve seen out of baseball in some time.--RotoBaller
