7 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton (ankle) left Thursday's game in the sixth inning due to problems with his left ankle. X-rays came back negative, as it was simply a matter of scar tissue dislodging itself. It looks like a disabled list stint will be avoided and he should return in a day or two. Eaton had already gotten on base twice and scored twice when the incident happened. The Nationals have been easing him back into action since he missed most of last season after tearing his ACL, and he has only played more than 125 games twice in his seven-year career. So long as he stays healthy, he'll continue to provide runs at the top of the Nationals lineup. But realistically, he's a sell-high candidate, as his health concerns are significant.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
