Adam Eaton Not In Wednesday's Lineup
4 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton will be out of the lineup for the third time in four games with the White Sox facing lefty J.A. Happ. Eaton is on the bench due to the matchup, but he has struggled with just three hits over his last 24 at-bats. Eaton has mainly hit second for the Pale Hose this season, but he doesn't offer managers much value while he is slumping at the plate. Second baseman Nick Madrigal will hit second on Wednesday with outfielder Billy Hamilton replacing Eaton in the lineup. Hamilton will bat eighth and doesn't offer much value outside of stolen bases. Utility man Leury Garcia will also be out of the lineup with fellow utility man Danny Mendick getting the start in right field and batting ninth. Mendick can be avoided in all formats.
