3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Thursday with a strained right hamstring, with the move made retroactive to June 15, the team announced on Twitter. Eaton got off to a good start in April, but since May 1 he is slashing .159/.282/.284 with two home runs, one steal, nine RBI and 14 runs scored over 32 games. It's yet another injury to strike Chicago outfielders this season, as they will now rotate through Leury Garcia, Andrew Vaughn, Brian Goodwin and Adam Engel to fill in the outfield. In a corresponding move, the White Sox recalled Zack Burdi from Triple-A Charlotte to fill Eaton's spot on the roster.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
