7 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton (ankle) has been scratched from Tuesday’s lineup with a left ankle bone bruise. There is no word on how serious the injury is, and the Nationals will likely say more after Tuesday’s game. It comes at a bad time for the Nationals if they were to lose Eaton to the disabled list, as their top prospect and outfielder Victor Robles went down hard on his elbow in a Triple-A game Monday and is awaiting MRI results. Brian Goodwin will replace Eaton on Tuesday and bat first in the lineup.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
