7 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton (knee), who sustained a season-ending injury last April, is being brought back slowly in spring training and has yet to play in a game. He's passed all his tests with flying colors, but the team is careful given how badly his leg ended up (torn anterior cruciate ligament, a torn meniscus and a high ankle sprain). With no date given as to when he'll play, manager Dave Martinez is confident Eaton will be ready by Opening Day. Eaton has fallen off most peoples' radar, but his legs are a big plus and he'll be leading off for a strong Nationals lineup. He's good for 15 or so stolen bases and will deliver an on-base percentage somewhere north of .360.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
